Is true love and the perfect bra too much for a woman to ask?

Miranda Smith was searching for a stamp when she discovered how good her ex-football player husband looked in ladies' lingerie. Even worse, she found out her two-timing, cross-dressing "ladies" man had run-off, leaving her and her family's hundred-year-old bra business teetering on the brink of bankruptcy.

It's up to Miranda to keep everything under wraps until she can rescue the company. But when Blake Summers, the town's all-too-attractive police chief, starts asking questions, it's going to be all she can do to stay in the underwear business while everything about Blake is charming her out of hers. Something's got to give, and Miranda is determined it won't be her - no matter how hot the temptation is to bare it all....

*****

I guess I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed 7 Days and 7 Nights. I simply think that the relationship between Blake and Miranda was not fully developed. I didn't feel their chemistry much. I felt something was missing. And I also think what happened to Tom (Miranda's husband) had been an "easy way" out. If you could say it that. Perhaps another thing should have happened to him instead of that? I don't feel that it's fully resolved.

I was hoping for another 7 Days and 7 Nights but I was disappointed. Wonder how her other books are?

It’s Him vs. Her when romance collides with reality--and everyone is watching....

HE SAYS...he’ll have his way with her inside a week.

Radio personality Matt Ransom of Atlanta’s raucous, testosterone-fueled Guy Talk, is counting on a sure thing when he agrees to be locked up in a tiny apartment for seven days with the competition: the earnest Dr. Olivia Moore. It’s an on-camera publicity stunt and Matt’s determined to come out on top. What he doesn’t count on is how hard it will be to hide from himself--and the rest of the world--how the beautiful doctor still stimulates him: body, mind, and soul.

SHE SAYS...she’ll never make the same mistake twice.

Though their long-ago affair is a secret, Olivia feels as if her broken heart is on display whenever she crosses paths with her infuriatingly cocky--and undeniably charismatic--nemesis. Now, she’s stuck in the reality show from hell...or is it heaven? Livvy’s learned a lot about relationships since Matt. All she has to do is keep a level head even while every other part of her is spinning dizzily out of control...

I was not setting high expectations for this book. And I'm really surprised that I enjoyed it. In fact, I really loved it! I enjoyed the gender war between the two characters. I loved how the story progressed and I was not definitely expecting how Dr. O admitted her feelings for Matt. Or that Matt didn't immediately call back after her declaration (I was thinking that would be the case).

Also, I liked how there's an Olivia POV and a Matt POV. It's really fun to also read on a guy's point of view, right? RIGHT! :) And adding in the side-story of Dawg and Jobeth has been entertaining.

I loved this book. Maybe it's just me... And maybe I'm just a sucker for this kind of love story. :)
