Julie James' latest book! :) First off, I'm surprised that she has written without her heroine being an attorney. haha.. I already got used to having an attorney for my heroine (or hero).. but anyways, the guy is another FBI agent... ok fine :). This time around, it's Jack Pallas' colleague, Nick McCall's story. As such, we get to see a glimpse of Jack and US Attorney Cameron Lynde *winks*. Guess, same as Jordan's friend, I kinda like how Nick calls her Rhodes. ;) I think it's just sweet. I enjoyed this one though I have to admit that I liked the earlier books (I'm still deciding which my fave would be - Just the Sexiest Man Alive or Practice Makes Perfect)..

Julie James' third book! Another attorney for a heroine and a sexy FBI agent for a hero. What more could you ask for? Fast-paced and I found it a lot more serious than her first 2 books. I also liked Jack's newbie partner.. and I find the cops who are escorting her funny. The bachelor party scene was really fun! I liked the other 2 books more but Something About You is still a fun and relaxing read. :)

When I first read Julie James' Just the Sexiest Man Alive last year, I vowed to go out and buy her other novels. Unfortunately, I haven't found any other yet, so I decided to get an electronic version first of Practice Makes Perfect (FullyBooked, when are you going to have this book?). And I'm glad I did read it already. I think I'm really a sucker for this type of love story - long time "enemies". It's funny, I love their chemistry. The story behind how they became "enemies" was funny. One sweet part that I liked (J.D. to Payton): 

"What I wanted to tell you," he began deliberately, "was that you were wrong."
...
"I would've done it for you in a heartbeat."

It was sweet really :). And there's another one other part that I liked, but I would have spoiled the story if I say it.. it's somewhere near the ending... so.... just read the book :).
